Sexually or physically abused children are also emotionally exploited.

4. Ignoring a child is an act or failure to perform a work in which the child's basic needs are denied. This neglect can be physical, educational, emotional or psychological. For example, physical neglect includes refusal of food, clothing, proper medical care or care. This also includes giving up altogether.
